Hourigan Construction

This massive design/build project at the Oceana Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach renovated 150,000 square feet of operational and administrative facilities, all coordinated with ongoing flight operations on the airfield.

Work included: repairs to more than 750,000 square feet of airfield taxiways and parking apron; additional parking apron modifications to accommodate 28 new Super Flight Line Electrical Distribution System (SFLEDS); the complete interior demolition/renovations to the Hangar 500 maintenance and administrative spaces; refurbishing of the hangar doors and the repainting of the interior and exterior of Hangar 500; construction of 3 new Secure Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) facilities.
