Our company employs a team of fulltime safety professionals. Under their supervision, we hold mandatory on-site safety meetings for all personnel and demand not only a safe, but clean working environment. Each employee is responsible for assuring not only his or her own safety, but also that of colleagues. OSHA training is mandated for all staff.

As a result of the high safety standards we set for all employees, vendors and subcontractors, we consistently earn an Experience Modification Rate of significantly less than 1.0 in the National Council of Compensation Insurance's benchmark rating system. In 2006 Hourigan Construction received one of the highest awards in the industry when we were awarded the National Excellence Safety Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc.
